Dear community,

I am using the 'timecourse' Bioconductor package for analyzing a gene-expression time course from Microarrays.

The output of this is a Hotelling T2 statistics. I would like to p-values for that.

Does anyone know how to do that? Is there R code for that available?

Thank you!

T2 is a multidimensional extension of the T statistic. So I supposose your statistics resemble in some way the Student distribution.

This is an interesting starting point for you: "Hotelling’s T2 multivariate profiling for detecting differential expression in microarrays" from Lu Y.

You can check it here: http://bioinformatics.oxfordjournals.org/content/21/14/3105
