Hi

I know I can download old ensembl releases on their archive site. Does anybody know where I could find archives of NCBI gene annotation data?

The current version can be found here: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/gene/ - But where could I find an older annotation release - say version 100?

Hey Michael,

If you mean different genome annotation releases, here is the location for humans: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/H_sapiens/ARCHIVE/

However, if you want to track changes for specific genes, it is better that you use NCBI sequence revision history.

Cheers.
