I would like to identify the ribosome binding site (RBS) for a particular gene within a prokaryotic operon. I have read on various sites that a Perl program, RBS-finder, exists and is now incorporated into the GLIMMER gene prediction tool. However I cannot find a link to the standalone online version of RBS-finder. Can anyone point me in the right direction to this program or another RBS-finder?

Thanks in advance!

You can use Genome Compiler for that - they have embedded the RBS calculator by Prof. Howard Salis.

I have been looking for the program as well. It is odd that it has almost been completly scrubbed from the internet. I did manage to find the older 1.0 version though.
