Hello

I am going to do an extensive BLAST and keyword searches of the citrus transcriptome to identify homologs of the genes involved in steroid biosynthesis.

May someone please give me some tips in this field if possible.

Are you looking for similarity to known Citrus genes, or to steroid biosynthesis genes from any organism?

I am going to find some absent components in sterol pathway in Citrus based on already characterized gene from model system, but I don't know how do this exactly. If possible give me some clue
