My name is Adriana Mejía Granados; I am biologist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with a Master degree of Biomolecular Sciences of the Amsterdam University (Netherlands). Now, I am a PhD student from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

I have access from the Neuroscience Group (Universidad Nacional de Colombia) of several blood samples from Alzheimer Disease patients, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and matched controls, I am searching for information about to get resources to send the samples to sequencing (RNA-seq) because I do no have any financial support for that, probably a collaboration. I want to kindly ask for any information about that.

The thesis project aimed to look for new candidate biomarkers built on descriptors derived from the whole microRNAs transcriptome analysis. Our strategy merges high throughput sequencing data of microRNAs isolated from blood samples of control and AD patients and the application of concepts of artificial intelligence. The purpose of this approach is to propose a classification system to access if patients of AD and controls can be accurately classified. Thanks you very much for your time and consideration.

Cordially,
Adriana
