.NET Bio (formerly Microsoft Biology Foundation) seems to be dead - the last release is a year ago, the last issue activity is from May 2015 and most of the recent issues have apparently been ignored.
Still, it has some useful code that I would like to use in my projects. Much of it is incomplete, so I would have to extend the library myself, which is fine. But I would like to make the extended version available to others. Unfortunately the project is currently hosted on CodePlex which is very hard to use, and I'd prefer to work on GitHub.
If I simply take all of the source code from CodePlex, and reupload it in my own repository on GitHub, is this allowed by licensing and so on?
