Is there a way to download bacterial genomes of a particular species, say Streptococcus agalactiae, but only those that were isolated from one type of host and not everything? It doesn't make sense to do this manually as there are hundreds to be checked one by one!

Thanks,
Areej

Have you looked at the genomes available on the FTP site: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/Bacteria/

Thanks for replying genomax2. However the link you provided is for RefSeq complete genomes. I could also get all the genomes complete or draft from this link here: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/genomes/all/. But what I'm looking for is the ability of querying the genomes to select only those that were isolated from a particular host. Thanks :)
