Comparative gene analysis

Good day everyone,

Please help me to suggest few comparative gene analysis tool. as i found there are many comparative genome analysis tool but couldnt find for gene analysis software/tools.

What do you want to compare? What is your goal?

I need to do comparison for mutated skin genes and normal skin genes that present in human...so as my supervisor said, i should find comparative gene analysis tool to perform the comparison and analysis of these genes

What data do you have? raw DNA-reads/ assembled reads/ transcripts etc? Basically, whatever you do applies for a whole genome or a single gene just do it genome-wide and then look for your set of genes.
