How to replace an atom with another atom in an aminoacid of a protein using bioinformatic tools?
We believe that this post does not fit the main topic of this site.
I didn't know we can change atoms in real molecules with a computer.
For this reason we have closed your question. This allows us to keep the site focused
on the topics that the community can help with.
If you disagree please tell us why in a reply below, we'll be happy to talk about it.
The query was putforward inorder to help me in adding unusual aminoacids to known proteins of interest.....
This sounds like a wet-lab thing, not a bioinformatics task. If you want to do simulation of some sort, please write proper question.
If I understood your question correctly then please let me allow to rephrase it like this way " how to do mutagenesis analysis of protein in PDB file?" . If it is yes then please use Pymol to do that one (read pymol tutorial)
Sorry sir .... my query was with respect to how to visualize unusual aminoacids like selenocysteine and selenomethionine using bioinformatics tools....
