Collect FASTA sequences of M15887 in human, mouse, cow, horse, dog, panda, rabbit, elephant. Do sequence alignment and analyze your obtained results.

This is my Bioinformatics homework and I came to the Ensembl page to find the FASTA sequence of M15887. However, I still don't understand one thing: When I search M15887 in mouse, cow,..(except human), the results are about genomic alignment and in the next question of the homework my teacher asked me to do sequence alignment. I can not figure what the question actually means. Can anyone help me with this question, please?

Presumably he/she wants you to do a multisequence alignment. M15887 is a human identifier, so you'll need to find the equivalents in the other species.
