Hi everyone,

As the full text: SOPA bill is introduced, I was wondering how it will affect BioStar and their users?

As I understand,

if the bill is passed, in its current form, SOPA would require BioStar to actively monitor every site BioStar link to, to ensure it doesn't host infringing content. Any link to an infringing site could put BioStar in jeopardy of being forced offline.

Please let me know if that is correct and what actions needed to be taken to ensure that BioStar is still a valuable source.

Thanks, Gaurav

Pretty much every website would be affected by SOPA and PIPA - hopefully right now it seems that this bill will be reworked.

I will close this question since it has the potential to shift into politics or other unrelated topics.
