NCBI taxonomy ids in a file

I am looking for a single file that lists species name for every taxonomy id in NCBI. Is there such a file? I was unable to find a flat file in the taxonomy ftp site. I have been using the site below to manually do the matchings so far but it is quite un-scalable

I think you can find that information in a file called "names.dmp" that you can derive from ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/taxonomy/taxdump.tar.gz. Take a look at this readme: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/taxonomy/taxdump_readme.txt
