Hello,

I normally use MAUVE to align sets of bacterial genomes, what allow me very easily to check the synteny and sometimes even to discover missannotations in some of the analyzed genomes.

I want now to extract a list of orthologous genes along my set of genomes. I've been trying to "Export Orthologs" from the Tool menu in MAUVE, but nothing happen.

Please, can anyone experienced in this matter give me a hint?

Thank you in adavnce

Not sure you can do it without the help of other software. Use Nextgene, CLC genomics, DNAStar, GenPro and R packages, perhaps.
