Dear all,

My question is about down regulated miRNA in blood. I mean I can not understand by which mechanism we can see that special miRNA down regulated in blood. For example we can see that hsa-miR-133a down regulated in the blood of early stage breast cancer patients. We know that hsa-mir-133a is not specific to the breast so the other part of body can express this miRNA as usual. If the other part of body express this miRNA we should don't see this down regulation. But we see the down regulation of miRNA in the blood of some early stage cancer patient.

Please tell me by which mechanism that would be happen?

Thank you
