Hello all
I am doing plant transcriptome data analysis. Sequencing was done using ion PGM, I got 23 million single end reads and 24 million single end reads for two biological replicates. I am planning to move with denovo transcriptome assembly
Can anyone please help me by suggesting the minimum RAM requirement for the assembly of these sample data.

In general memory use for any computational task depends on the algorithm and its particular implementation details. So check the requirements and guidelines for the assembler you want to use.
