Hi everyone, I am new in the field of bioinformatics, though after attending some bioinformatics course training, I find it so interesting. So, I am trying to do some sequence alignment but I need a professional advice. Is it advisable to include or use Fragment DNA/Protein sequences in alignment and further analysis for Publication? Thanks.

Depends on the type of sequencing, species, goal, etc.

Thank you so much. The organisms in question are freshwater snails and the purpose is to have a phylogenetic analysis.
