Dear All, Recently, I started to do pangenome, with PGAP pangenome software. I need to create .function file (input file) for PGAP to start my pangenomic analysis. I have a annotated .gbk files with PEG details which all i got from RAST server. Guys, tell me how can i convert my .gbk files into .function file. The excepted .function files should contain this following three coloums...

1.gene name 2.COG classification 3.Function description

The problem is, I got a .function file with gene name and Function description details but COG is missing. How can i get COG details also???????

Thanks in advance..........

As you mentioned pan-genome study and COG analysis, BPGA is one of the option for both pan genome analysis and It's cog profile.
