CMG tools look like a collection of multiple otherwise freely available tools that are compiled to support exactly this course. First of all, I do not know what your aim is, therefore it is hard to give a recommendation for alternatives to the included tools, and I don't have a list of software included in the distribution at hand.. If you want to check out which tools are inside the distribution, you can try to follow the PDF course script and check if those are available individually and install them. In any case, you should define the question you are trying to answer first. BioLinux might potentially also include a lot of these tools as well.

Hi Archana, Are you referring to http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/biotools/CMGtools/ ? Your primary source for support would be to contact the contact at DTU listed on the page. Note that this looks like old course software which might not be supported any more. I have only a guess for you how to get it running for you though: The error message is quite correct, you have a virtualization option VT-x in your BIOS for your Intel host CPU. This option is present in Intel processors. See http://www.howtogeek.com/213795/how-to-enable-intel-vt-x-in-your-computers-bios-or-uefi-firmware/ and google the error message. You should either: turn on VT-x in your BIOS, or turn of the CPU option use VT-x in the settings of the virtual machine image, but this might not be possible at all.
