Thank you guys for doing this brilliant job in field of Bioinformatics. I found very useful posts. I have been looking for a kind of exciting topic for my bioinformatics project. Actually I am studying it recently and have no much knowledge of Bioinformatics tool other than some familiar tools. I am a graduate student. Can you guys suggest me some topic in which I can get easy grip without going too much complex in subject matter??
Moreover, my lab research is based on Physcomitrella Patens and specifically I am working with Chalcone Synthase Super-family. I wanted to work on this topic but it has already been done by my mates so I have to come up with some other original research. I am also thinking for finding and designing promoter regions of PpCHS - Accession number is ABB84527. But I am not finding sufficient data to make a project. Could you guys suggest me tools for designing the promoters?
