I have a microarray dataset of 22998x215 (rows and columns). I want to eliminate the differentially expressed genes out of that 22998 genes. Please help to find the p value and elimination methodologies.

215 - persons (samples) 22998 genes (gene1, gene2 , gene3,..... gene22998)

Here rows represents genes and column represents person. Need to eliminate the insignificant genes out of 22998.

Are you working on analyzed data or raw data?? If you have analyzed result you could simply filter P-value < 0.05 or even better feature FDR < 0.05.

But for raw data you will need analysis before obtaining significant genes.

cheers

Working on Raw Data taken from ncbi .. need guidance for these 1. How to Read excel data in R (Limma package) 2. How to compute P value for each row
