Hi,

I recently found the software STAMP and I liked a lot, it uses table with taxonomical data and read counts from metagenomics to perform statistics and visualizations.

What software with GUI you use to perform basic statistics methods (embedded in it) and generate visualizations and plots with table data? like different samples, genes, values or read counts ? and sample compareson etc?

(I know R is best but feel uncomfortable with it and no user friendly)

I don't know about STAMP but in my experience, GUI software always end up being too constraining. At some point, you'll find that they can't do what you want, the way you want it. Eventually, you'll have to turn to writing scripts. If you're a beginner in the field, I would suggest to start getting comfortable with a scripting language early rather than late. Use GUI software for convenience but don't rely on them to be able to solve all your problems.
