I have used IlluQC.pl to perform quality control for my Illumina resequece data, but it continuously out put an error message : Modification of non-creatable array value attempted subscript -2 at IlluQC.pl line 1030 <f2> line 5445196. and then the procedure shut down. I use the paramater : perl IlluQC.pl -pe R01_1.fq R01_2.fq 2 A -p 4. What should I do? It already drove me mad, can any one help me?
While someone familiar with the specific program you are referring to responds you may want to switch gears and try FastQC out.
