the 23andme file shows that the genotype at Rs6265 is AG.. so i went to SNPedia and saw that the orientation is (minus) so i flipped the AG to CT .. but there is no CT at the page !! http://www.snpedia.com/index.php/Rs6265 why is that ?!

Both 23andme and SNPedia seem to report the alleles on the reverse strand (A/G). C/T alleles at rs6265 are the ones reported by Ensembl and they are on forward strand. I believe the original submission to dbSNP was done on the reverse strand and the alleles got propagated as such in places such as 23andme, etc, whereas others such as Ensembl report the alleles on the forward strand. Check 'Does Ensembl report variation alleles on the forward strand or reverse strand?'
