Job Description

**

Research, develop, and implement advanced algorithms for unique applications in Computational Pathology. Primary responsibilities include: Medical imaging algorithm R&D, system design, and software development. You will work with pathologists and imaging professionals to formulate novel methodologies and algorithms to measure morphological and histological properties of cancer tissue. You will have to rely on Computer Vision experience to extract meaningful feature data from captured microscope images. We want you to innovate, create, and help us grow sustainably. You are a foundational team member and respectively, you will lead our CV/ML evolution.

Qualification

**

  • MS/PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Science, (Medical) Imaging Biomedical / ElectricalEngineering, Math, or Physics
  • Create image segmentation and classification algorithms for image processing, pattern recognition, measurement, and statistical modeling applications
  • Solid dev skills in C/C++, python AND Matlab/Mathematica or equivalent
  • Integrate Machine Learning modeling techniques>> will train ideal candidate

Nice to haves

  • Utilize ITK, OpenCV (or similar toolkits)
  • Automate a microscope (if required)
  • Manipulate No-SQL database and MapR, Hadoop exposure
  • Execute GPU programming in High Performance Computing environment
