When I was creating the index using hisat2-build , a problem "Profiling timer expired" appeared and I can`t make the index .I am sure that my hisat2 installed correctly because I can show the help information . By the way ,when I use bowtie2 make the index , I have met the problem again . It puzzled me very much . I could really appreciated anybody's reply.

This is the command ：/.local/RNA-Seq_parsing_kit/hisat2/bin/hisat2-build ./ARTH.fa ARTH
./ARTH is a soft linkage to the absolute PATH for the fasta of Arabidopsis_thaliana
