CEGMA analysis, core gene or protein?

Hi all,

First of all, sorry for this question, but I have to ask. I was wondering if there are 248 conserved genes or proteins in the CEGMA program. As the program starts with doing TBLASTN, it should have conserved proteins, yes, am I right?
