Hi, I just learned that the HapMap site has been shut down due to a security issue (see http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/variation/news/NCBI_retiring_HapMap/ for details). I used the site to create haplotype maps for demonstration purposes - the triangular blocks of red, pink, and blue were great to get the idea of linkage disequilibrium across to non geneticists. The HapMab site refers me to the 1000 Genomes project, but I don't seem to be able to find anything about creating a hapmap. Can anyone suggest where to go to make images of this type? Thanks, David
