Did the Biostars logo on the top-left of all pages become smaller at some point this month? I thought it might have just been a browser setting my cat flipped or something when I wasn't looking, but now I think maybe the actual asset was resized?
If that's the case, could it be made a little larger? I keep clicking on the whitespace below it and waiting for something to happen, haha :)
The logo has not been touched but the image does automatically resize itself at different browser widths.
This is to allow more content to fit in at lower resolutions.
Grab the edge of the browser window and drag it in (or out) and you can see how it jumps to bigger over a certain size.

Don't feel too bad. About two years ago I posted what I thought was a similar bug (the vote up/down stuff wasn't visible or something like that) that then "went away" once someone suggested rotating my iPAD 90° :P

Oh man, I certainly don't envy the people who's job it is to test web layouts on multiple devices. Particularly if VR becomes the norm and certain issues only appear if you tilt your head sideways, while looking left and up, with one eye closed. And the iPad rotated 90 degrees :)

I related similar story from graduate school, many years ago I made a banner for the Physics department that would randomly select one story out of ten and feature it on the homepage. Some time later I get a notification from a faculty member that says that one story does not appear frequently enough. Mind you I am randomly selecting out of ten. I told them with random numbers there can always be long stretches of seemingly unexpected runs. Ok, but then some days later I get another email stating that they still believe that the chances are uneven.
Now mind you they had to manually reload that page and check that each of the 10 stories appear evenly, who does that? Who? A high energy physicist, they know all about random events ...
Finally I give in and verify my javascript code, lo and behold I had an error - some sort of rounding error the net effect of which was that the last element in the list got picked about half as many times, instead of 1/10 it was 1/20 or so and accordingly all the others were showing in 1/9. Anyway long story short since then I usually trust reports by smart people.

I remember it being bigger, like the height of the whole nav bar. Maybe my eyes are going square :)
