Hello,
I am a computer scientist and completely new to bioinformatics.
My aim is to program a Gibbs sampler in R, the way it is described in the article "Gene selection: a Bayesian variable selection approach". This article wants to identify genes on basis of expression profiles.
The dataset used in the article above stems from the following article: http://www.nejm.org/doi/ref/10.1056/NEJM200102223440801
I am looking for the data mentioned in these articles. I found http://software.broadinstitute.org/gsea/msigdb/geneset_page.jsp?geneSetName=HEDENFALK_BREAST_CANCER_BRCA1_VS_BRCA2
But this is only a list of 163 gene names. So I need the data including the expression measurements.
Thank you for your help.

It appears that GEO does not have the original data from this study. This page has some supplemental information from the paper you had linked. You may have to write to the senior author to see if they can give you the raw data.
An earlier version of the supplement included the data. I accessed it here: https://web.archive.org/web/20090131012656/http://research.nhgri.nih.gov/microarray/NEJM_Supplement/Images/nejm_brca_release.txt
