Dear people at Biostars, We assume a lot of you have already experiences with companies providing RNA-Seq services. One of the main problems we observed with RNA-Seq is to produce reliable / reproducible high quality RNA-Seq results instead of “data garbage”. Reasons for this can lie at any point of this process, e.g. at the beginning, the sample integrity, the RNA isolation, library generation, etc., and we assume it often is also caused by substituting qualified workforce and lab automation for a cheaper workforce and manual work, especially in regard to keeping a high RNA integrity and quantitative accuracy. We are located in US and we are searching for a company where we can be sure to receive highest quality/ reliability of RNA-Seq for differential isoform expression analysis when we send over our FFPE tissue slides / rolls, or our isolated RNA samples. We are looking for the full package of RNA-Seq from RNA isolation over RNA-Seq to the statistical analysis for differentially expressed isoforms/ genes with their log2-fold changes and adjusted p-values (FDR-values), heatmaps and sample hierarchical cluster analysis, e.g. by using the Illumina platform or similar. Our focus lies on finding a company which can provide us with highest quality and reliability of RNA-Seq. We appreciate your thoughts about this. Thanks.
