I run the GISTIC2.0 calculation. In the focal result, one cytoband of deleted regions named "20p12.1" is with a wide peak boundary chr20:1-63025520. The length of chr 20 is 64Mb and I chose the value of focal length cutoff as 0.50 before calulation. How did this region (nearly the whole chr 20) appeared in the focal result. Does anyone know?
Unless you are sure that this is an error in the tool and you have complete understanding about it, I think it would be more polite to talk about "unexpected results" rather than a mistake.
