Possible to approximating parental genome by sequencing batch of eggs?

I have a need to assign dispersed individuals back to a clutch of eggs. I have many samples from each clutch of eggs. Rather than conducting a sibship analysis between the eggs and the dispersed adults, would it be possible to homogenize a batch of eggs and sequence them as one sample that approximates the parental genomes and then conduct a parentage analysis to assign individuals back to their clutch?

Hello azandis!

This is typically not recommended as it runs the risk of annoying people in both communities.
