Hi: I'm new to Bioinformatics, and I started to browse the TCGA database for methylation array files. I found some files from Illumina Methylation 27 that I pretended to use for analysis. My question is about the normalisation of the data: Are values across different files comparable? and if not, what strategy should I use for normalising?

Thanks

Juan
