What algorithms would you suggest for performing a transcriptome meta-analysis? I have data from more than 20 GEO data sets. I have counted the number of experiments in which a given gene is differentially expressed, and I’ve normalized the data and used both supervised and unsupervised clustering on it. I’m trying to find an algorithm to combine the 20 different p-values, fold changes, or both. Thanks.

Hi dear spacemorrissey You can use , to combine p-values obtained from different independent studies. It offers you a variety of methods e.g fisher method as a more sensitive method to combine your results. Best
