The Brusko Laboratory (http://bruskolab.diabetes.ufl.edu) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate to assist with functions related to our P01 (http://grantome.com/grant/NIH/P01-AI042288-18-6119) and R01 (http://grantome.com/grant/NIH/R01-DK106191-01A1) awards. Additionally, the recruit will have the opportunity to work with samples available through nPOD (http://www.jdrfnpod.org), a one-of-a-kind national tissue procurement program based within the University of Florida Diabetes Institute that obtains extremely rare samples from diabetic organ donors.
A successful applicant will be experienced in human T cell biology and flow cytometry OR will have a strong background in computer science, bioinformatics, data management, and machine learning. Experience with specific informatic and data analysis tools will be discussed at length during the interview process.
