where to find mRNA data

hello,

I'm not sure where to find mRNA data in RefSeq: NCBI Reference Sequence Database

is it under RefSeq FTP -> H_sapiens -> RefSeqGene or mRNA_Prot/

can any one help i'm new to genetics

Are you looking for sequence data or gene expression data?

You can find sequence data in RefSeqGene but if you want gene expression data then look in NCBI GEO or SRA databases.

I have attached here screen-shot where you can see how to download. Go to NCBI -> Type organism -> select nucloetide -> mRNA & RefSeq filter on left side panel and send sequences to file.
