Hi All,
I am seeking your advice on Bioinformatics/Computational Biology graduate programs.
I am considering the following school’s PhD programs on Bioinformatics/Computational Biology:
UCSF: Bioinformatics
UCLA: Bioinformatics
UCSD: Bioinformatics and Systems Biology
CMU: Joint CMU-Pitt Computational Biology
Could you please offer me some advice on how to rank these four programs (in terms of relatively how good they are)?
Also, what are their ranks in an overall ranking of Bioinformatics/Computational Biology graduate programs relating to other schools in U.S.?

I can't find a change in the actual content of your post. Some words have been added/modified. So this is still a duplicate.
If a thread doesn't get replies it's unlikely that posting the same question again suddenly will give a lot of insight.
I think the title of the original one was not very clear.
Another important reason is that when the old one was originally posted it was after the midnight in the US time zone, so it didn't get viewed by US people when it was on the top, but it's about US schools.
Could you please delete the old one, so that this new one can be viewed by US people when it's still not too late over here?
I really appreciate your help on this, please, since I really need advice.

For future reference, editing an original post gives it an automatic "bump" to top of main page. You do not need to create a duplicate.
Are you confident of getting in to all four? If yes, then this question is moot. Otherwise apply to those where your interests align with those of the faculty.
Of the schools you mention none are in top 6 from the last rankings available.

I am having conflicts on interview days, which is why I have to make some decision at this point.
Don't decline just due to scheduling! Ask if you can change your date or do a remote interview. Most universities will be accommodating on this point.
At some level you have to decide what area/projects interest you most since you must have looked at all four programs. Whether you want to enjoy sunny California (and be poor) or freeze in Pittsburgh during winter (but be better off financially) may help you decide.
All four programs have areas of my interests and they all require lab rotations in the first year (so you will not be admitted into a specific lab). And I’m OK with either sunny or cold weather since I have lived in both climates.
So at this point, it is really a matter of which program is relatively better than the other.
