Closed:Microbiome Data Scientist Needed for Startup

We are a young startup company specialising in microbiome testing for nutritional and wellness purposes. We are currently in the product development phase, and in need of someone to help optimize our results workflow and data analytics, ready to be sent to our clients.

As such we are interested in collaborating with someone with microbiome and data science experience, who can effectively:

• Read biom results, noticing any anomalies and which species are of interest for particular clients
• Craft suitable customer questionnaires to create optimal metadata files
• Appropriate analyses and statistics measures in R or Python
• Offer insights from the data results, based on relevant scientific literature, to then be used in our database of suggestions for customers.
• Bonus: predictive analyses insights to help improve our subsequent platform iterations.

We are open to working with someone remotely, although we are based in Copenhagen. This would be an unpaid initial internship, followed by potential for a more permanent role.
