Hi All,

I've created BLAST like algorithm from my works in Sequence to Sequence prediction. It uses graph based pattern search and recognition unlike existing matrix substitution methods.

Is there any need for another tool with different approach to pairwise alignment or multiple sequence alignment in bioinformatics field? Would it worth to pursue it?

Algorithm cant be open sourced yet as it tied other tools in Natural Language processing and graph processing.

Comments/feedback is appreciated.

If your tool has better performance (speed, sensitivity, accuracy...) definitely will be useful. Also if it's a novel approach. So, my suggestion is to open your code and left the world decide.
