I wanted to deploy machine learning algorithms to predict PPI.
Can someone guide me through some appropriate literature/tools and techniques that would help me achieving that?
My main problem is how do I collect the datasets from online databases like MINT, STRING etc? Some of the papers that I have gone through talks about mining these databases. Can someone guide me through a step by step process about how to do that?

Thanks in advance

Predicting protein-protein interactions is a form of link prediction. There's a whole literature on this outside of bioinformatics. How to collect protein-protein interaction data is down to how each PPI database operates. They usually have a download section so check their respective websites.
