Hi all,
I read some papers, where authors performed genetic risk prediction using database of human SNP-disease associations named VARIMED. I can't search the web, so the SNPs associated with diseases can't find. Could you please tell me how to use it??
Thanks!
I do not think the database is up and running anymore. The scripts page has also been moved. It seemed to be a database that was manually curated but may be moved or retired.
If you look at the paper. So probably it is no more free resource. Just contact the Personalis or Prof. Atul Butte in that case. Otherwise, there are some other databases that can also do the work.
Conflict of Interest: Rong Chen is now an employee at Personalis, Inc. Atul Butte is a founder and scientific advisor to Personalis, Inc. Personalis holds a license to use the Varimed database.
