I have the neurodegenerative disease Friedreich's Ataxia (FRDA). In the past few years, I became interested in finding a therapy for FRDA through the high-fat and low-carb Ketogenic Diet.

I recently wrote two articles that might be interesting to you: the first article highlights the molecular mechanisms through which the Ketogenic Diet potentially confers therapeutic benefits to neurodegenerative diseases in general and FRDA in particular. In the second article, I proposed measuring differentially expressed genes in the cells of FRDA patients following the Ketogenic Diet using RNA-seq.
