Dear all, I need to convert Volvox Carteri gene identifiers to gene symbols. An example of gene identifier in Volvox carteri reference genome is as "Vocar20009101m.g". But I need to have the corresponding gene symbol of this gene. So far, I have checked DAVID, Gprofiler, bioDBnet and some other web-tools to convert this gene identifier but I could not be so successful. Please help.
Where are those gene identifiers originating from?
