Hi,

I was given two strange gene IDs coming from RNA-seq in chiness spring (wheat)

TRIAE_CS42_1AL_TGACv1_000363_AA0010190

TRIAE_CS42_1AL_TGACv1_000406_AA0011290

whatever I search I can't get they are belong to which gene names,

I tried this biostars forum but no clue Gene Id Conversion Tool

What is the assignment here? Just the conversion? Those may be some sort of transcript ID's and many not have actual annotation.

Thank you, I have a list of such a transcripts that should be converted to gene name, symbole, entrez, etc. but no DAVID neither another tools supported them.

Well unless you are willing to spend lots of time figuring out what each of those is, not much you may be able to do.

Thank you, how I can convert my list to UniProt ids?? because hereafter I would be able to perform GO classification on these validated ids, with these strange IDs no annotation tool gives GO terms.

With BioMart. Or you could bypass Uniprot and just get the GO terms from BioMart.
