Hi All,

I have a DNA sequence of about 10 kb, and I want to search for retinoic acid response element within that sequence. Can you recommend a software or an approach to do this.

Thanks Tarek

To search for sequence patterns in your data you could use seqkit grep or seqkit locate

https://github.com/shenwei356/seqkit

or dreg and fuzznuc in emboss.

http://emboss.bioinformatics.nl/cgi-bin/emboss/help/dreg

Plus many other tools.
