Dear all I am preparing a biological database for which i want to embed a blast webpage with local blast server. I working on Ubundu. Can anyone help me out doing this task. Does sequenceserver work in a similar way as BLAST do?

Yes. It's basically a wrapper for a local installation of NCBI blast+ and local databases with a web-based graphical user interface, i.e. what I understood you wanted to accomplish.
