I am trying to find novel genes in my RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq data sets using

https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi

and following this publication, bu am very new to this tool. Could somene explain how to about this, or suggest another tool to find novel genes from my data please?
