I have RNA sequencing data, control versus treated samples at 40 million reads, and I am seeking a collaborator to assist with looking at expression levels, alternatively spliced forms, and promoter analysis. Once upon a time, I cloned and characterized a transcription factor which is an oncogene, and after some animal work we recognize the importance of RNA sequencing.
Since personal email addresses are generally not posted/shared on Biostars I am not sure how you are going to be able to go about this. Have you eliminated the possibility of finding a collaborator locally at your institution?
People may post links to their home page, group location, github or other places etc that, in turn, may contain their own personally identifiable information.
In general we would not want to discourage schramml from looking for collaborators via this site. So I have undeleted the post since I think the original poster may have believed that it is an inappropriate use of the site. That is not the case.
