Hello BioStars,

I’m excited to introduce LabWorm - where every week, our community posts new tools and votes on them to expose the best ones, all completely open and free.

So if you have created a tool, help our community get to know it and post it on LabWorm and claim your tool page!

We hope to help build a micro-community around each tool for Q&A, support and idea exchange.

Finally, you can follow your peers to get live notifications of important tools they discover and publish collections of your favorite tools to all your followers.

We’ve been working on this for the past few months with a rapidly growing community, so we thought it was ripe to reveal to the great people of Biostars and hear your feedback.

Is there any way for us to modify descriptions of tools already listed there? In particular, we'd like to modify the description for deepTools.

Sure, if you are the tool developer we can assign you as the owner, which will grant you special backend access to manage the tool page and receive notifications on page activity. At the moment, to be assigned as tool owner, just contact us with your LabWorm username (we are working on improving the process).

We are also always available for any specific requests that you might have. Feel free to contact us at contact@labworm.com

We've added a new feature that might be interesting to the Biostars community.. a brand new discussion board that aggregates comments posted in indivudival tool pages as well as an option to ask general questions.

Finally, you can ask the LabWorm community for help finding the perfect tool for your needs, inquire about technical issues or just let yourself be heard!

Happy to hear your thoughts and feeback

The newly designed board
