mouse exome sequencing : disease gene prioritization?

Hi Thank you so much in advance. I was just wondering if there are any research articles on using mouse exome sequencing data to identify human disease-associated genes. Since human and mouse share many common phenotype and genotype characteristics, it seemed reasonable for me that there must be some studies on mouse exome sequencing data that lead to identifying human disease-related genes.

Thanks

I'm not so sure - this is the best study that I could find: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4484392/

One area that may be of interest to you right now is gene editing, i.e., some research groups are currently breeding strains of rodents with diseases, which they are then attempting to 'cure' via gene editing (CRISPR/Cas9).
